Job Description

Large, well-established company headquartered in the Northeast Philadelphia area is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Supervisor. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this person will manage the day to day of the AP Department and manage a group of AP Specialists. Duties will include: Manage a high volume accounts payable process across the entire company, ensuring accurate and timely payments are made Lead, train, and develop 4 direct reports Create, maintain, and optimize AP Processes Evaluate internal controls and policies related to accounts payable cycle and ensure ongoing compliance Identify process improvement opportunities Oversee invoice approval process and weekly check runs Maintain the Accounts Payable system and identify ways to further automate the function Work on special projects as needed The Accounts Payable Supervisor should possess the following: ~5+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high volume environment ~ Prior management experience required ~ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills ~ MS Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables and Vlookups ~ Ability to multi-task
