Job Description

Overview:  Versa Creative is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Service Specialist to join our growing team. This role is perfect for a persuasive and technically skilled writer with a passion for crafting compelling proposals and managing client acquisition processes from initial contact through onboarding. You'll play a key role in driving new business efforts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate incoming requests for quotes (RFQs/RFPs) and work with internal teams to develop pricing estimates and project timelines.
  • Prepare clear, engaging, and persuasive new business proposals and presentations tailored to each prospective client.
  • Present Versa Creative's services in ways that meet each client’s unique needs, helping to position our agency as the best-fit partner.
  • Prepare and bind presentation materials and portfolios for new business meetings; attend and contribute to these meetings as needed.
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities by cold calling potential clients and following up on inbound and outbound leads to identify client's key business goals and critical challenges.
  • Convert qualified prospects into new clients
  • Accurately enter and maintain potential client data in the CRM system to support tracking and follow-up.
  • Research and recommend improvements to proposal development and client onboarding processes to drive efficiency and impact.
  • Manage the client onboarding process, coordinating with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospect to partner.
  • Collaborate with strategy, business development, and account management teams through regular meetings and touchpoints.
  • Provide general support to the business development, account management, and executive teams as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, proposal writing, marketing, or a related role—agency experience is a plus.
  • Strong persuasive and technical writing skills. Preference to candidates with demonstrated experience writing proposals, presentations, and/or responding to RFPs.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly when reading contracts, proposals, and client documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident presenter and communicator, comfortable working across teams and engaging with potential clients.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) preferred.
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset and a desire to contribute to a growing, fast-paced team.
