Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager (AAM). This position is responsible for supporting the client service needs of Account Managers (AM), with an optional path to become an independent Account Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing Duties
a) Process policies and endorsements for a designated book of business.
b) Input DEAD/LOST activities, per procedure.
c) Review and process audits.
d) Process direct notice of cancellations and reinstatements (DNOC/REIN) per workflow.
2.Renewal/Rewrite Work
a) Complete the RNPR process, including SOVs, drivers’ lists, etc., as directed by AMs
b) Calculate Replacement Cost Estimators as needed.
c) Create Summaries of Coverage, including review questionnaire, for client meetings.
d) Participate in client reviews or be debriefed on meetings.
e) Order and review renewals for accuracy (utilizing Renewal Manager)
f) Assist in rewrite/renewal process by pulling loss runs, prior years’ applications, send narrative for Risk Consultant to update, send documents/applications via Indio.
3. Client Requests
a) Order changes, as directed by AMs. This includes updating Epic applications to reflect ordered changes.
b) Obtain quotes on simple changes, as requested.
c) Handle insurance verification requests, issuing EVID/CERTs as needed.
d) Create billing breakdowns as needed.
e) Submit claims, as directed by AM.
f) Build claims analysis as needed.
4. Additional Duties
a) Back-up to the account support functions within the department. Assist when needed to keep workflows current.
b) Learn carrier products in depth and attend carrier meetings.
c) Follow-up with clients, at AM’s direction. This may include returning phone calls, making outbound calls to obtain more information or clarification, confirming coverage, etc.
d) Follow-up with underwriters, at AM’s direction. This may include answering underwriting requests, returning calls for the AM, providing requested information, etc.
