Position Summary:

The Director of Admissions is responsible for the strategic oversight and daily operations of the admissions department. This includes leading, training, and managing a team of Admissions Representatives to meet enrollment goals, deliver exceptional prospective student experiences, and uphold the brand and values of the school. The Director ensures compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements while promoting a high-performance admissions culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Admissions Representatives.
  • Set individual and team enrollment goals and track performance metrics.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Financial Aid, and Education departments to support the full enrollment life cycle.

Admissions Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve admissions targets.
  • Monitor lead flow and conversion rates, optimizing the admissions funnel.
  • Analyze data from CRM and lead management tools (e.g., LeadSquared) to drive improvements.
  • Coordinate and oversee admissions events, open houses, and outreach efforts.

Student Engagement & Enrollment

  • Ensure a high-quality admissions experience, from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Handle escalated applicant issues or complex enrollment scenarios.
  • Support brand messaging and represent the school with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Maintain documentation in accordance with accreditation and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure ethical and compliant admissions practices.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on admissions performance and trends.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of admissions or sales experience, preferably in private education.
  • Proven leadership experience managing a high-performing team.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., LeadSquared), Microsoft Office, and data analysis.
  • Passion for education, beauty/wellness industries, and student success.
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to travel to all campuses and fairs as needed.
