Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Director of Marketing Insights & Analytics to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven storyteller, adept at extracting actionable insights from complex marketing data to optimize our acquisition, retention, and brand strategies. This role will be crucial in understanding customer behavior, measuring campaign effectiveness, and identifying growth opportunities within the competitive e-commerce meat market.

What You’ll Do

  • Marketing Performance Analysis: Lead the analysis of all marketing channels (e.g., paid search, social media, email, display, SEO, affiliate marketing) to evaluate performance against KPIs such as ROI, ROAS, CAC, LTV, and conversion rates.
  • Customer Segmentation & LTV: Develop and refine customer segmentation models to understand different cohorts, predict lifetime value (LTV), and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to optimize website performance, campaign creatives, landing pages, and user journeys.
  • Attribution Modeling: Implement and refine multi-touch attribution models to accurately measure the impact of various marketing touchpoints.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the online meat delivery space.
  • Dashboarding & Reporting: Develop and manage dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs, using Google Analytics and BI tools.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Create clear, compelling reports and dashboards, presenting insights to marketing leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Assist in developing forecasts and budget recommendations based on historical and projected performance.
  • Data Integrity & Governance: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of marketing data across platforms.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Translate complex data into actionable insights that improve marketing efficiency, acquisition, and retention.
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, sales, and IT teams to embed data-driven thinking across the business.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years in marketing analytics, ideally in e-commerce or DTC environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, Economics, or related field (Master’s a plus)
  • Proficiency in SQL, Google Analytics 4, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI)
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing KPIs and metrics
  • Experience with attribution modeling, A/B testing, and customer segmentation
  • Strong communication skills, able to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, emerging-growth environment
  • Experience with Klaviyo, HubSpot, or other marketing automation tools is a plus
  • Bonus points for experience in food, perishable goods, or subscription commerce
