What you can expect: This is a physically demanding, active, mostly outdoor role at a wedding venue on event day. Must be able to lift, push, pull 100 lbs. with assistance from another staff member.
This is role is NOT Catering, Event Management or Wedding Coordinating.
The main function of this role is to set up and strike the in-house event furniture (tables and chairs). This is typically a 2 hour shift with the possibility of two available shifts a day. You will be under the direction of the on-duty Venue Manager.
Pay is $20 per hour.
Schedule is flexible. Open shifts are published 3-4 weeks before the event date. You may sign up for the shifts that fit your schedule.
You will have some interaction with clients and event guests and all Event Staff is expected to present a polished and professional demeanor.
In return you can expect the Venue Manager on duty to:
Required Wardrobe: Comfortable but clean and pressed all black attire including closed toe shoes. Example - Black khaki pants and black polo with black sneakers. Name tag will be provided.
*khaki color or black khaki shorts are also permitted for the hotter months.
