As a Business Development Manager at Maxta, you will play a key role in driving growth through client acquisition, channel partnerships, and market expansion. We’re looking for someone who not only excels in sales but also understands the evolving landscape of AI-powered financial services—and can champion that vision to customers.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with SMBs, CPA firms, and bookkeeping service providers
• Build and maintain strong client relationships; manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
• Collaborate closely with product and technical teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs
• Represent Maxta at industry events, trade shows, and conferences across the U.S.
• Develop strategic partnerships with local associations, tech integrators, and financial platforms
• Gather market feedback and contribute to pricing, product positioning, and go-to-market strategy

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
• 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in SaaS or FinTech
• Strong understanding of the U.S. SMB market and consultative sales processes
• Proven ability to generate leads, build pipelines, and close deals independently
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• English fluency required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus
• Based in Los Angeles; ability to travel as needed
