Position Title: Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Buyer

Department: Supply Chain

Facility: Fort Mill, SC

Work Location: Hybrid (onsite 3 days per week)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 to 4:30

• Lots of opportunities for growth in the supply chain department. The team is growing and expanding as we open the new plant. We will have the need to buy new material, new equipment, etc.

Tasks and Objectives:

• Tasks are the things a person will do on a regular basis, like ‘manage a team of people,’ or ‘set sales strategy for the region’. Objectives are long-term, big picture results like “support sales team to outperform sales goal,’ or ‘optimize sales strategy and conversion rate’.

Top 3 Tasks

• This role will be looking after spare parts and capex. We’re going to have more and more equipment, so it makes sense that someone is dedicated to the whole PR/PO process. This person will be managing customer clearance. They could do a little bit of packaging and accessory material as well.

Top Objectives (KPIs)

1. Ensure spare parts inventory
2. Standardize and streamline the PR to PO process and turnaround time

• Doesn’t need solar experience, but automotive or electronics experience would be good. Needs to be good at building cross-functional relationships with maintenance, engineering, and other departments, as they’ll be buying primarily for those departments. Must have good negotiation skills
