• Clinical Shift Schedule: 3 shifts of 13.5 regular hours per week

• Patient Demographics: Pediatric patients

• Patient Volume/Census: IR/Ped Cath Lab

• Case Mix: Pediatric patients requiring cardiac catheterization, including pulmonary balloons

FACILITY INFORMATION

• No. of Beds in Department: 8 operating rooms, 2 CCATH labs

• Trauma Level: Level 1

• EMR System: Epic

• Office Equipment Available: Standard equipment for IR and Ped Cath Lab

• Specialty Backup Available: Physicians and Advanced Practitioners

• Support Staff Available: Physicians and APs

• Reason for Coverage: Urgent need for coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Strong background in cardiac catheterization (CCATH)

• Proficiency in pulmonary balloon procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Active SC license

• BC

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform anesthesia services in the IR/Ped Cath Lab

• Administer care for pediatric patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and APs, to provide optimal patient outcomes

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures

• Complete hospital modules and EPIC training as required
