Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in payroll systems, as well as a solid understanding of accounting principles.

  • Monday to Friday - Flex Scheduled

Duties

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time using payroll software such as ADP or Pay core.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure payroll entries are correctly recorded.
  • Manage tax-related tasks, including withholding calculations and filing necessary tax forms.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources department to maintain accurate employee records and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Handle accounts payable functions related to payroll expenses.
  • Conduct account reconciliation to ensure all payroll transactions are accounted for.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to payroll data as needed.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations affecting payroll processing.

Requirements

  • Expected to maintain consistent and reliable attendance
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Candidates must be able to accurately and efficiently follow given instructions.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes.
  • We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • The position involves working comfortably and effectively within a diverse, multi-cultural setting
  • Proficiency in payroll software (Paycore) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and corporate accounting practices.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements related to payroll.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with various departments, including Human Resources and Accounting.
