Project Controls Lead – Global Capital Projects (Pharmaceutical Industry)

Location: Marietta, Pennsylvania

Project Focus: Managing a high-value capital project within the pharmaceutical industry

Compensation: Up to $200K/year + daily per diem for relocation

Contract Duration: Up to 5 years

On-Site Requirement: 4 days per week

Interview Process

Two rounds of interviews:

1. Technical/Functional Evaluation – Assessing expertise in project controls, risk management, and financial forecasting.
2. Technical Meet & Greet – Discussion with the product team to ensure alignment with project goals.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Project Controls Lead in Global Capital Projects
• Proven track record of managing projects valued at $100M or more
• Expert in Project Management, Scope Management, Risk Management, Change Management, and Forecasting
• Strong foundational understanding of key project management delivery processes
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is REQUIRED
• Exceptional stakeholder management – Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency to meet and exceed business expectations

What You’ll Be Doing – Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Single Point of Contact – Overseeing a major capital project in the pharmaceutical sector
• Project Scope & Risk Management – Monitoring performance metrics and ensuring compliance
• Scheduling & Milestones – Creating and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely, budget-conscious completion
• Financial Management & Forecasting – Building cash flow curves and ensuring accurate financial tracking
• Stakeholder Engagement – Communicating proactively and effectively with business stakeholders
• Regulatory Compliance & Audits – Ensuring project activities adhere to industry quality and compliance standards
