Our firm is the leading accounting firm on Long Island specializing in providing comprehensive financial services to businesses and individuals. With a dedicated team of professionals, we strive to deliver exceptional value and personalized solutions to meet our clients' diverse needs.

Our firm operates on Saturdays during Tax Season (Jan 15-Apr 15), candidates must be able to work on Saturday's and will receive overtime pay.

The Responsibilities of the position are as follows:

• Greet clients and visitors with a warm and welcoming attitude.
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person.
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members.
• General administrative tasks such as filing, typing and data entry.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
• Provide information to prospective clients.
• Written and email correspondence with clients.
• Keeping reception and all public office spaces tidy.
• Assist staff with projects and tasks as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or similar position is required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
• Some experience in an accounting environment a plus.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• The position is full-time and on-site. No hybrid or remote work is allowed.

A reasonable estimate for this position is ≈$50,000/yr. - $60,000/yr.
