Software Engineer | Freight Tech x AI

We’re partnering with a stealth freight tech startup that is building a vertical AI agent to modernize one of the most manual, high-friction industries in the US.

In freight brokerage, booking a single truckload can take up to 50 emails, calls, and texts. Our client is automating this with an AI-powered, omni-channel platform that is already in use by many of the top 100 brokerages in the country.

They are now hiring an early software engineer to help bring this product to life.

What you’ll do:

• Ship features that bring AI into real-world operations
• Speak directly with users and influence product direction
• Help define the company’s culture and engineering practices

You might be a fit if you:

• Have 3 to 10 years of experience (or less, if you’ve built exceptional products)
• Have worked at top product or engineering orgs or joined startups at the early stage
• Are comfortable across the stack (NodeJS, Typescript, and REST APIs are used but not required)
• Want a high-impact role with direct ownership and user feedback
• Are based in SF or open to relocating

This is a full-time, in-person role with startup hours. The team values high agency, fast execution, and clarity in design and code.
