Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Design Vision: Define and execute a compelling product design strategy aligned with business goals and user needs.
• Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and inspire a team of exceptional product designers and UX researchers.
• Design Excellence: Drive the creation of intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning user experiences across all platforms.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product, engineering, marketing, and executive leadership to ensure seamless integration of design.
• User-Centered Innovation: Champion a user-first design approach, leveraging data and research to inform design decisions.
• Scalable Design Systems: Develop and implement scalable design systems and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Engagement & Social Experiences: Lead the evolution of core platform experiences, focusing on enhancing user engagement, social interaction, and retention.
• Industry Trend Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging design trends and technologies, driving continuous innovation.
• Collaborative Design Culture: Foster a collaborative design culture, facilitating ideation, critiques, and feedback loops.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading and scaling product design teams in high-growth, consumer-facing companies (e.g., social media, mobile gaming, e-commerce, or similar).
• Deep expertise in user-centered design, UX research, and interaction design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a history of delivering innovative and impactful product experiences.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience driving social engagement and gamification of products.
• Experience with mobile first design.
• Experience with data driven design.
• A passion for innovation and a deep understanding of emerging design trends.
