Title: Retail Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in supporting the pharmacist team to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care management to patients with diverse medical needs. Serving as a key liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies, the Pharmacy Technician ensures a seamless and personalized pharmacy experience by handling non-clinical aspects of care with efficiency and compassion. Working under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Team in a fast-paced, high-volume mail-order setting, the Pharmacy Technician performs medication handling, prescription data entry, patient communication, and administrative tasks. They also support the initiation and facilitation of prior authorizations, input insurance overrides, and help maintain and enforce the drug formulary. Brighton Marine Health Center Pharmacy is a critical part of the US Family Health Plan at Brighton Marine, committed to delivering exceptional service and optimizing patient outcomes.

Physical Nature of the Job
Typical physical aspects of this role would include exerting up to 25 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move throughout the campus.
